Burger King - Dr. Angus

Directed by, and starring, English funny man Harry Enfield, this campaign tries to take the piss out of our diet-crazed society while selling Burger King's premium beef patty. "A diet is what you eat, so eat the Angus Diet" proclaims Dr. Angus. But the real cleverness of this campaign is its media placement. Buying infomercial slots allowed us to run 5-minute long spots at peak times for our 18-24 target for pennies. The requirement of displaying an always visible 800 number while showcasing a product that must be sold by phone only enhanced the campaign. We created a 127-page diet book that you could order by phone, online and was even sold in major bookstores. This campaign won a gold pencil at the One Show.
