With a passion for creative problem solving and an artist background, I have had the privilege of creating groundbreaking advertising and branding for some of the world's most renowned brands, including ESPN, Google, Delta, Nissan, GAP, Hilton, MINI, Verizon, IKEA, Heinz, Air Jordan, Burger King, Bud Light and more.
Recently, I freelanced as Executive Creative Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day. I was brought on to lead the creation of Nissan's first Super Bowl campaign in seven years. Starring a lineup of A-list talent, including Eugene Levy, Brie Larson, Danai Gurira, and Dave Bautista, the campaign was a resounding success, ranking #3 on FastCo's list of best Super Bowl commercials. I went on to manage a team of talented copywriters, art directors, and designers in the creation of Hilton's first-ever global platform, "Hilton. For the Stay." Featuring Paris Hilton and voiced by Emmy award-winning actress Catherine O'Hara, this comprehensive campaign encompassed social, digital, OOH, radio, experiential, and a dozen TV spots.
Prior to freelancing, I spent 14 years as Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, New York, where I oversaw both traditional advertising and social media for Bud Light, including the widely popular “Dilly Dilly” phenomenon. Morgan Stanley credited the campaign with increasing Anheuser-Busch InBev's market share for the first time in almost a decade. The multiple-year campaign was also instrumental in helping Wieden+Kennedy win AdAge’s Agency of the Year three years in a row. As Creative Director on Delta Air Lines, I overhauled the image of the recently bankrupt airline through advertising, product innovation, social, and funny safety videos. This resulted in numerous creative awards, the highest-ever recorded brand affinity for Delta, and recognition for the long-time CMO as a "Brand Genius" on the cover of Adweek. On ESPN, I partnered with all the major sports leagues and ESPN’s own programming to produce over 150 commercials, including numerous spots for the famous “This is SportsCenter” campaign. Before Wieden+Kennedy, I was part of the “golden years” of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, where I worked on IKEA, MINI, truth, and played a key role in winning the Burger King and VW accounts.
My portfolio encompasses a diverse range of work, from 10 Super Bowl commercials to viral TikTok challenges, and even a cure for jet lag. My work has been celebrated by The New York Times, USA Today, CNN, 60 Minutes, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and has even hung on the walls of MOMA in New York. I have received awards from every major industry show, including Gold Lions from Cannes and the prestigious $100,000 Kelly Grand Prize.
When I'm not building brands, I love to make things, whether building sandcastles with my two daughters on the Jersey Shore or something out of wood in my garage. I also enjoy a good road trip. I have driven across the country 7 times, including once with my little brother in a 1970 VW Bus. I have also been known to ride a unicycle and juggle, although not at the same time.
